Master Gardener Julie Strnad gives us a preview of things to come this Sunday, June 1, from 9 am to 1 pm, as the LA County Master Gardeners return to the Green Tent with seeds and seedlings to give away. Pick up a FREE pack of seeds and one of these FREE green goodies:
Yummy, nutritious and pretty MICROGREENS. Every now and then, give them a little “haircut” by chopping the tops off and into your salad bowl, then watch as they keep growing even more.
Mixed lettuces, multiple varieties in a single container Salads are on the menu!

Arugula If you let them go to seed, you’ll be surprised at how spicy and nutty the flowers are!
